The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close Haggerty Road to through traffic this coming Monday and Tuesday, May 19 and 20, between 12 Mile and 13 Mile roads for an emergency replacement of a culvert under the road. The closure will begin at approximately 7 a.m. Monday morning. RCOC expects to re-open the road Tuesday evening. The detour route for through traffic during the closure will be 13 Mile Road to M-5 to 12 Mile Road and back to Haggerty and vice versa. The emergency culvert replacement is necessary because the existing culvert has begun to collapse.
