We have received our permit to perform goose nest destruction between April 20th and May 4th.  You may see some people out harassing the geese and removing eggs.  These are members of the association or others that have agreed to assist.  After May 4th, harassment of the geese is still permitted to encourage them to leave this area and is legal except using motor vehicles.

The nest destruction is not done to harm the geese, but to control the population and encourage them to live in less suburban areas and instead move to areas that are setup for the protection of their species.  If you have any questions or comments, you can email us from the Contact Us page and we will return your email as soon as possible.

This project is done through the cooperation of the USDA and DNR.  It is performed by many associations/businesses in Oakland/Monroe/Wayne counties.
